THEME
Reduce, reuse and recycle’ affects all levels in the economical, social and cultural spheres. The deconstruction of the IOC Headquarters offers a privileged case-study to evaluate contempora­ry strategies of sustainability in architecture. The workshop will have a special focus on the poten­tial application of reuse materials for the Youth Olympic Games 2020 in Lausanne.

OUTCOME
Sharing the knowledge of professionals. Evaluation of re-use material. Finding successful shifts in va­lue from waste to recyclable to reusable. Creating a market for reused materials. Scout clients and projects. Mock-ups of deconstructed elements to study the potential value.
